Scrapbooking Storage For Newbies

authoradmin | October 23, 2011

Scrapbooking storage has grown to be beneficial for almost all who actually scrapbook.  I truly understand as a result of practical knowledge that my personal scrapbook supplies ended up being tremendously disorganized and usually actually turned out to be destroyed because I just hadn’t installed any type of storage unit that will help maintain my scrapbooking products.  When ever it comes time to show good results on a activity and you have to look for your own tools or you identify the actual decoration which you would like to use and the product has come to be twisted and harmed.  Scrapbook supplies are not the most high-priced hobby there is, nonetheless I just spent way too much funds to be able to keep on allowing my supplies and tools to either end up displaced or perhaps destroyed.

My very own 1st consideration was in fact to give protection to my scrapbook papers.  I purchased scrapbook paper trays to help prevent any future damage to my paper.  The trays are purfect for holding 12×12 paper in a way to where you can still see your colors.  It is still necessary to lift the paper to see the prints.  This minor inconvieniece is well worth protecting your paper.

When it comes to storage of your tools, you need something that will help you keep them organized.  I used a Scrapbook Organizer by Craft Design.  The reason I selected this model is because the dividers can be removed to hold different size tools.  I also purchased a 5 tray cropper hopper as well which allowed me to store my larger tools such as my paper cutter, scissors and die cuts.  For my ribbon I chose the Cropper Hopper - Ribbon Carousel because it is easy on the eyes and it is great for storage and use.  The carousel makes it very easy to find just the right ribbon for your projects.

There are also some great scrapbook storage solutions on the market that I really want and I am just waiting to save up the money.  The scrapbox is one storage approach that I am hoping my husband will get me for Christmas.  I am thinking I will have to wait another year but I guess I will just have to wait and see.  For now I am using the items I purchased and I look forward to getting a scrapbox soon.

As a scrapbooker , you will notice your supplies multiplying and piling up , at some point you will find yourself searching for that special tool or supplies that you need and will not be able to locate them . You really want to find a way to get your scrapbook tools and supplies organized to where you can find what you are looking for . The Scrapbooking Armoire is a great solution .

An armoire is a tall chest and in most cases used to store clothing. Some think that the word “armoire” comes from its original use as a closet for storing the arms of the household ready to be taken in order to defend the hearth from invaders. However, it is more likely that the term armoire is derived from the Latin word, “arma” meaning tools, so the name armoire originally means a tool chest. Armoires used to be made of beautifully finished wood, either waxed or painted. Now high tech materials are used to create an armoire.

A scrapbook armoire is perfect for storing scrapbooking supplies . The armoire must have a desk or work table to serve as your work space or area. You can separate the desk top so you can sit and do your work there.  The hutch in the folding table helps you to store more scrapbooking materials. You want to have drawers where you can stpre tools and supplies.

You can use eight casters to have a mobile table and economize by availing of a strut table leg set. You can do any craft art activities on the table which is made of rust-resistant materials so it will be more durable. Drawers and shelves are essentials; use drawers to store and preserve your tools and supplies; use shelves to organize your tools, supplies and materials.

The lower shelves should have casters which you can move easily. Place a chair near the shelf and pull the table when doing your craft activities. Label all drawers and shelves properly so you can find the items you need.

Versatility is the word used to describe the scrapbooking armoire for it can be utilized as both decoration and storage unit. For your convenience, you can order your scrapbook storage solutions online.
